CENTRAL OKLAHOMA NAIFA
Regular Meeting
May 19, 2009
Earl’s BBQ, Moore, OK
The meeting was called to order by President Riley at 12:21 PM
Members and guests were welcomed. Twenty were in attendance. President Riley talked briefly about the importance of wearing the NAIFA membership pins for better visibility of the organization.
President Riley read the minutes of the April 21, 2009 meeting. Heath Boyles moved to accept the minutes as presented. Motion was seconded and motion carried.
Treasurer Glinda Cordell presented a copy of the financial report for the period of April 20, 2009 thru May 18, 2009. The report indicated an income of $6,866.57 and expenses of $3,752.52 with a balance of $3,883.36. Jim Pratt made a motion to accept the financial report. Motion was seconded and motion carried.
Vice President Boyles introduced Stephanie Garrett with Market Data Center as the first guest speaker. Garrett discussed the information which is available for residential and commercial real estate within the MDC data base. She discussed where the information is obtained, the fees for different subscriber levels and how the fees apply to the searches completed by the subscribers.
Boyles introduced Adam Calvery and Paul Stansberry from a la mode, inc. Calvery and Stansberry talked about how their appraiser Xsite helps market appraisers with regard to the HVCC and smaller lenders. Questions regarding the soon to be released version of a la mode, to be called Armstrong and some of the new features it will offer. They also discussed a new drawing program, DaVinci, which will replace the Apex drawing program with their software program.
The drawing for a free day of education was won by Jimmie Davis.
Boyles thanked the guest speakers for their participation and presentations.
Riley encouraged everyone to attend the next meeting.
