IFA regular meeting
3/17/09
Fire mountain buffet @ I40 and Rockwell
48 total members were at the meeting

Called to order 12:10 AM

Don went over a out line of the meet
Went over possible software to help with the 1004MC for $150 approx.
Went over the HVCC issues and the possible problems.

Two reps from the OKC MLS ( Dona Kenndy and Chris Chapell ) came and spoke with us about the data needed for the 1004MC forms , and a possible link to help the appraiser fill that data in.

They noted a statement on the web site that the OCMAR data base does not have the ability to provide all data it takes to fill the new 1004MC form.

They are going to set up a small video on the data search needed to get the data for the new form.

OCMAR is going to have approx 15 hrs of CE for appraisers the last quarter of the year.

We also went over the concessions data on the MLS and that it is not being filled in , we ask them to prompt the data line to not entered instead of “0”. They were going to look in to it. Currently there is mandate for the realtors to input any data other than the status change.

Bryan Queen brought samples of the 1004MC that most every one found helpful and that the form is to be used to provide all data that can be verified. The over all tone of the meeting is that the use of all data to give a clearer picture of the market was the intent of the form. And with the lack of data and the number of non-listed sales the addendum was focused on to make sure the underwriters see what we had to work with and how the data was obtained.

The MLS group brought up a meeting at willow creek in Moore on April 11, 2009 for the state MLS networks. We were invited to attend.

OCMAR reminded us that the MLS is a selling tool for realtors and that we are allowed access to it as a courtesy.

Drawing for free education was won by Sherrie Houck.
Drawing for free tape was won by Lee Ann Taylor.
