Why did I get an error message while attaching a picture?
Yes, there seems to be a bug in our forum software that causes people to get the error message while attempting to attach a file:
“The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.”
Apparently, the problem is caused by attempting to upload attachments from certain kinds of directories on the user's computer. Fortunately, the work around is easy. Just move or copy the attachment to your desktop and upload it from there. So far, we have had no reports of people having problems uploading attachments from their desktop.
I tried to turn on "email notification" but am getting an error message, what is wrong?
If you use the "Change Email Notification" on our forum to sign up to receive email notices of messages you will receive an email with a URL to go to, but when you go there you get this message:
"Sorry, your request could not be processed. Please check the URL and try again."
This appears to be caused by a bug in our forums software. However, the good news is that when you get this message, the email notification is turned on and you will start receiving email copies of messages, according to the option you picked.
